Today we released v1.2 of the SEO Control Center plugin on WordPress.org. This release contains a number of user experience improvements, bug fixes, and some enhanced data capabilities we’re excited to debut.
Most of the improvements can be seen on the All Keywords page. We’ve updated the columns to display that day’s rank alongside the keyword movement (calculated vs. today’s rank). In addition, all columns are now sortable (hooray!).
We’ve also added two new columns to this display as well as the CSV export: Average and Volatility. These are calculated dynamically in the plugin and are sortable so you can easily see what keywords are moving and where they’re ranking on average to identify issues quickly.
The other main addition to the plugin are notices that appear once you’ve run out of keywords, prompting you to upgrade your plan to the next tier. We’re excited to build out more tools for users on our paid plans, so stay tuned for more on that.
As a side note, a lot of the improvements in this release came from user feedback, so if you have an idea for something you’d like to see, let us know by filling out this form!
